Couture Spring 2024

Archana Kochhar’s New York Fashion Week 2024 showcase was a celebration of sustainable luxury, where Indian craftsmanship met contemporary global fashion. The collection featured rich brocades, fluid printed ensembles, and modern silhouettes crafted entirely in handwoven Ahimsa Silk a cruelty-free silk created without harming a single silkworm. Rooted in the philosophy of conscious fashion, the collection highlighted India’s textile heritage on an international runway. 

The 2024 collection reinterpreted traditional Indian textiles through a modern lens, blending regal brocade weaves with artistic prints, layered textures, and effortless drapes. Sculpted gowns, contemporary separates, and statement occasion wear were brought to life with delicate zari accents, soft metallic tones, and intricate embellishments that reflected both luxury and craftsmanship.

Inspired by the idea of mindful couture, the collection balanced heritage with innovation  showcasing the beauty of Indian handloom fabrics while embracing modern silhouettes designed for the global woman. Through this showcase, Archana Kochhar continued to champion Ahimsa Silk as a symbol of ethical fashion, artisan empowerment, and timeless elegance.
